Founder and creative director, Steph Viesta orchestrates a holistic approach to residential design and remains committed to compliment not only the architectural integrity of each space, but the lifestyle of the client. Studio Seva specializes in full service interior design, renovation, and design-build collaborations with leading architects and builders.

Steph has completed a wide variety of interior design projects throughout Connecticut, Westchester County, New York City and beyond. She is recognized for her ability to curate interiors that are current yet refined, blending comfort with high style. Her work is defined by a core neutral color palette, organic materials and a tailored design plan. She brings authenticity to every project, while delivering a sense of vibrancy and warmth to each home. Focused on crafting environments that are layered, yet well edited, her love for textural fabrics, speciality wall coverings and custom finishes is evident in the materials she celebrates.

Known for her relevant and keen understanding of construction and architecture, Steph’s down to earth personality and ingenuity makes any collaboration easy and inviting, with her attention to detail unmatched. With her extensive resources in the design market, she values most her assembled network of credited and skilled artisans and craftsmen. Steph believes communication and setting realistic expectations are paramount at every stage of a project.

Having grown up traveling the world, she draws inspiration from her international experiences.  Steph expanded her design vocabulary through a BFA magna cum laude in Fabric Styling at the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC. Undoubtedly, she credits her father, a masterful builder, and her childhood which consisted of perpetual ‘bring your daughter to work days’ for her love of site visits and for her very existence in the design world. She is happiest when jumping out of planes and any night of the week during basketball season.
